Founded in London in 2012, MetroPac began its journey with a mission to serve the growing demand for high-quality packaging solutions in the UK. Starting with a monthly supply of 30 tons of foam-based products, we initially catered to the fast food industry with hinged-lid containers. Over the years, we have expanded our reach to include butchers, cash-and-carry outlets, and retail markets, offering a diverse and ever-growing product range.
In 2016, to accommodate increasing demand, we relocated to a larger depot in Romford, Essex, with a pallet capacity of 1,000. Our operation now specialises in providing a wide array of packaging solutions, including polystyrene, plastic, aluminium, and paper, to supermarkets, fishmongers, fast food chains, and wholesalers across London and beyond. Alongside our commitment to quality, we actively prioritise sustainability by offering eco-friendly packaging options and fostering practices that reduce our environmental footprint.
MetroPac is committed to maintaining the strictest standards in food safety, environmental hygiene, and traceability. With 70% of our products sourced through trusted international manufacturers, we ensure every item meets the highest standards of quality and specifications tailored to the UK market. Our products and manufacturing processes hold ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and OHSAS certifications, underscoring our dedication to quality, responsibility, and long-term partnerships with our clients.
